Automated inspection of Printed Circuit Boards(PCB's) is essential if 100% repeatible inspection is to be carried out. The cost of most commercially available systems for automatic visual inspection of PCB's are beyond the reach of many small to medium manufacturers. The principle objectives of our research is to develop and integrate a micro-computer based image analysis system specifically fo...

Predictor-corrector (PC) methods for the numerical solution of stiff ODEs can be extended to include the second derivative of the solution. In this paper, we consider second derivative PC methods with the three-step second derivative Adams-Bashforth as predictor and two-step second derivative Adams-Moulton as corrector which both methods have order six. Implementation of the proposed PC method ...

In this paper, an improved predictor-corrector methods (IPC) to solve fuzzy differential equation under generalized differentiability are discussed. The methods proposed here are based on generalized characterization theorem. Using the Generalized Characterization we can translate a fuzzy differential equation into two ODE systems. Also, the convergence and stability of the proposed methods are...

We examine the stability properties of a predictor-corrector implementation of a class of implicit linear multistep methods. The method has recently been described in the literature as suitable for the efficient integration of stiff systems and as having stability regions similar to well known implicit methods. A more detailed analysis reveals that this is not the case.

The maximum principle for the space and time-space fractional partial differential equations is still an open problem. In this paper, we consider a multi-term time-space Riesz-Caputo fractional differential equations over an open bounded domain. A maximum principle for the equation is proved. The uniqueness and continuous dependence of the solution are derived. Using a fractional predictor-corr...

In this paper we present a generalization of the predictor corrector method of linear programming problem to semideenite linear programming problem. We consider a direction which, we show, belongs to a family of directions presented by Kojima, Shin-doh and Hara, and, one of the directions analyzed by Monteiro. We show that starting with the initial complementary slackness violation of t 0 , in ...

From a spectral method combined with a predictor-corrector scheme, we numerically study the behavior in time of solutions of the three-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equations regularized using the BBM trick. The solution no longer blows up and the solitonic behavior is observed.

Three interior point methods are proposed for sufficient horizontal linear complementarity problems (HLCP): a large update path following algorithm, a first order corrector-predictor method, and a second order corrector-predictor method. All algorithms produce sequences of iterates in the wide neighborhood of the central path introduced by Ai and Zhang. The algorithms do not depend on the handi...
